This lidded box is made from green Ash, meaning the wood was still wet when turned. It is 3 inches tall and left unsanded and unfinished to see tool technique and how smooth the surface can be straight from the tool.
This is an example of a class project that was successful. In this case it was Richard Raffan's class.
