This Dried Flower Pot is made from Honduras Mahogany, 3 inches wide. It is sanded to 1200 grit, coated with paste wax, and buffed to a satin finish. My wife buys dried flowers, cuts them into small pieces and makes floral arrangements.
My wife calls this a Dried Flower Pot but for some reason I think of it as a Weed Pot.
The wood is actually scrap wood from my Grandfather Stieve's projects over his lifetime. He sealed his cutoffs in barrels to protect them and years later, we opened the barrels, and found a source of material for these small Dried Flower Pots.
